The project started by working through the kitchen layout before installation decisions were locked in. Appliance locations, storage, work areas, clearances, and circulation were reviewed together. A cabinet rendering helped translate those decisions into a coordinated plan and gave the homeowner a clearer picture of the finished room.
With the layout established, Fuse helped source cabinetry that fit the room and the intended design. Dark base cabinets anchor the primary work areas, while lighter tall and upper cabinets add contrast and frame the refrigerator wall. Where standard cabinet components could not provide the required fit, custom fabrication and field adjustments were used to create clean transitions, balanced proportions, and useful storage.
Minor plumbing and electrical modifications were coordinated around the final cabinet, counter, appliance, and lighting locations. The range hood received a dedicated, code-compliant duct routed to the exterior so ventilation would function as part of the finished kitchen rather than as an afterthought.
Cabinet installation required careful leveling, alignment, fitting, and coordination with the stone counters and full-height backsplash. Panels, trim, crown details, hardware, and final adjustments brought the individual elements together as one finished room. Each phase was checked against the approved layout as the work progressed.
The finished kitchen combines practical storage with a distinctive two-tone cabinet arrangement and continuous stone surfaces.
